What is Aquamation?

Aquamation

Alkaline hydrolysis, or "aquamation", is the process of using 95% water and 5% alkalinity to break down the body's tissues.

Although we call it water-based cremation, aquamation is more comparable to the breakdown process that happens when a body is laid to rest directly in the earth's soil.

Pet Aquamation

Alkaline hydrolysis is also available for animals.

Our pet aqamation facility is able to cremate pet remains, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and everything in between.
