Ronald Wilbur Stube's Obituary
Ronald Wilbur Stube Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 83 years, 3 months, and 28 days.
Ron was born on September 13, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Wilbur and Sarah Stube. He is also preceded in death by his son, Jeff Stube.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lee Anne Stube (nee Skaggs); son, Steve Stube; siblings: Lorraine Walsh and Joyce Rygelski; and his dog companion, Lilly.
Ron was also a loving brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.
Ron retired after working 30 years for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He also was an avid sports fan, especially soccer.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 1625 Swallow Lane, Florissant, Missouri 63031.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ron's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
