I knew Bob from his days at Scotsman Coin. He was a quiet man and rather soft spoken when I saw him on Tuesdays. If I found him outside the shop, we would chat about everyday things - about how he was doing, what was going on. Nothing serious, just normal, everyday chit chat. Whenever I arrived in the shop, he was there to welcome me with a warm hello and I always appreciated that. I didn't know him well, but I shall miss his presence whenever I am in on the shop on a Tuesday. My prayers to his family. I know that he is having fun playing in the clouds with the angels.

Bob was my brother-in-law , my sister Lisa’s husband- and for 30 years Lisa revolved her life around Bob— she loved his kids like her own, she went were he went and sat with him at Murphys many times even when she would rather be home sitting with her cats!
Like everyone says- Bob was one of a kind! He had a dry sence of humor and liked to wear crazy hats for holidays!
I can still hear Bob saying “Honey! What are you doing now!” As Lisa was trying to get the last dish washed at a family event! He would wait impatiently until finally Lisa was ready to go! Honey was Bobs term of endearment for Lisa/ sometimes! And other times it was his final exasperated call to her - LETS GO HONEY!
Anyway- one thing I remember Bob saying- but I can’t remember why he told me this- he said- Every day I get up and Thank God for another day! Wow! Well that tells you something about Bob- with all his kookiness- Bob said a prayer a day! And that prayer will probably get him through those pearly gates !!
Toward the end- Bob began to realize that Lisa was his soul mate! Lisa was sitting on the couch and Bob was looking at her- Lisa said- what are you thinking??? Waiting for the Honey word! But Bob surprised her- he said- I’m Thankful! - Lisa said- what are you thankful for- Bob said- YOU!!! All the years came togeather in that one moment! Bob realized not only that Lisa was the best wife he could have ever asked or prayed for- but that he was thankful for Lisa not only for taking care of him through this horrible cancer- but also for all the years of Lisa being there for Bob and loving him through the good and bad times…
So here is to you Bob! Dear brother-in-law! Now it’s your turn to revolve your Heaven helping Lisa- help her feel your presence and see that smile of yours! Help her to remember the good times and forget the bad! Help her to know that you are in that special place , not only in Heaven, but in her heart! God bless you! God bless you sis! Keep the faith! JESUS MARY AND ST JOSEPH WILL HELP YOU THROUGH! And St Jude!! And Bob!!

I just found out about my cousin's passing. We lived next door to each other on 18th Street in St. Louis, MO, before his moving to Hazelwood,MO with his parents. So sorry and you have my condolences. Kathy (Brandt) Moore

I have known Bob since he met and married my sister-in-law Laura. I loved being around him at my in- laws pool or playing a round of golf. He was one of the funniest people I have ever known. He always made an occasion happier.
Matt, Katie and Andy, I am so sorry for your loss. I love you.
