Eric Henson's Obituary
Eric Leon Henson passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at his residence in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 51 years, 2 months, and 28 days.
Eric was born on March 19, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri to Leon Henson and the late Marilyn Henson (nee Hayes).
Along with his father, Eric is survived by his loving husband of 16 years, Scott Stevenson; sister, Julie (George "Bud") Rager; grandmother, Mary Thorsland (nee Beard); mother-in-law, Sharon Stevenson (nee Haller); aunt, Johnda "Suzy" (Greg) Meaux; sister-in-law, Tammi Stevenson; nieces: Ashlee Washington and Sara (Greg Mattson) Downing.
He was also a great-uncle to: Forest Mattson and Nadia Mattson; loving parent to: Sassy, Daschal and the late Swoozie, Nicholby, Jasper, Bogie, Willow, Gail; Grandparent to the late Agatha; dear cousin, and amazing friend, teacher, musician, choir director, and vocalist.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Chapel, 16520 Clayton Road, Ballwin, MO 63011.

A private inurnment will take place at Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri
