Darryl Wayne Luffman's Obituary
Buckle up and grab dirty vodka martini. Darryl Wayne Luffman blessed this world on June 24th, 1968 in Tennessee. He was a wise crackin' queen of the universe from the time he was born.
His impact spans far and wide, and there is not enough time or alcohol to tell all of the entertaining stories and adventures. His talents knew no bounds - from cooking, baking, and cutting meat, to being the best support and confident to countless people who trusted and loved him. This man loved Chicago, Giordano's pizza, Chinese food, Christmas, period television, disco and metal music, and a good sweater. Most of all, he loved his husband Kevin and his daughters, Adriana and Maranda.
He was a Bear that loved being in hibernation mode and never missed the opportunity to nap. He knew how make others laugh - through a story, a message, a DM, a look. His care was expansive and he loved with a force that could heal the greatest hurt. His presence is missed but continues to live on in the lives that he touched. We couldn't forget him if we tried, and we would never want to. Anyone who was lucky enough to share a room, a job, an interaction with Darryl is forever changed for the better.
