William Busekrus' Obituary
William "Booze" Busekrus from St. Louis, Missouri, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 12th 2023 one week shy of his 81st birthday.
Beloved husband of Patricia Busekrus for 56 years, dear father of Rachelle (Donald) Douglas, Tony Busekrus, dear popo of Ravi, Marvin, and Marie Douglas. Brother in law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Clara and Frank Bardot, father Alvin Busekrus, and brother and sister in law Robert and Mary Busekrus.
Booze did many things in his life but retired from Lohr Distributing as a draft beer service technician.
It is impossible to fully express here why Booze was such a character but if you were lucky enough to know him, you knew. Some of the things he loved were good music, cold beer, BBQing, fishing, camping, golfing, boat rides, classic cars, sharp threads, a good haircut, and enjoying time with his friends and family. He had a huge heart and would do anything for those he loved and cherished.
Booze knew how to have a good time and no one had more fun. He knew how to make an entrance and loved to be where the action was. Wherever he was, something was going to happen and you would typically get a funny story out of it. He was a great joke and story teller and a very colorful speaker.
The only thing Booze loved more than a good time was his family. He cherished his kids and completely adored their mother. He used to talk about winning the lottery one day but he always knew he had already won when Patsy George became his wife.
