Wanda Jones' Obituary
Wanda Jones passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 66 years, 9 months, and 23 days.
Wanda was born on July 08 1954 in St. Louis Missouri to Cleo McDonald and Sam Shelton, both proceeded her in death. She was the second of 6 children, the oldest Jackie proceeded her in death.
Wanda grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where she attended Sumner High school, later on getting her G.E.D.
She accepted Christ into her life at an early age, and would constantly talk about her relationship with the Lord.
Wanda spent many years working g for the United States Postal, later on working for Barnes-Jewish until her illness finally took over.
Wanda was no stranger to anyone that she met. She captured your heart with her big smile and chipmunk cheeks.
She loved to spend her free time shopping with her cousins Poncho and Opal. She was known to her dialysis family as the candy lady, and was dubbed the nickname "The Lady With
The 9 Lives"
Wanda leaves to mourn her passing 2 children, Carlos Jones (Amanee) and Christian Jones-Arnold (Eugene) her third and fourth children Willie Tillman Jr and Kimmeo Ramsey proceeded her in death. 3 grandchildren Ashley, Amber (Collin) Arrin 2 great grandchildren A'Meiah and Ahkya. 3 sisters 1 brother and a host of aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. Details of the service will be posted here when finalized.
