Sharon M. Huson (nee Egan)'s Obituary
Our beautiful mother, Sharon M. Huson (née Egan), passed away peacefully at home in St. Louis on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by love.
She is survived by her children: Tammy R. Fox Davis, Steve and Cindy Helton, James S. Huson, and David and Amy Huson.
She was the best MawMaw to Anthony Fox, Alexander Fox, Alyssa Cervera, Bradley Egan Huson, and Aleeya Barrett, and a special GG to George and Jackson.
Born the youngest of eleven children, Sharon is also survived by her brother Dan (Vonny) Egan and her sister Jackie (Leland) Vaughn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James T. and Adele G. Egan; four brothers, James (Janice), Larry (Norma), Richard (Pat), and Ronnie; and four sisters, Jean, Peggy (Jack), Kathleen, and Faye (Eugene).
Sharon dedicated her life to her children and her family. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and by a long list of friends.
She touched so many lives—always there with encouragement or a kind word—an inspiration to everyone she met. She will be remembered for her strength and wisdom. Mom was one of a kind, and she will forever be missed.
We love you, Mom.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hughes Funeral Alternatives, 3211 Sublette Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Sharon’s honor.
A Celebration of Life party is being planned for a later date.
My brothers and I are truly grateful for all the kind words that have been shared about our mom. We always knew she was special—we just didn’t realize how many others knew it too.
God rest her soul.
