Sandra Dawn Williams' Obituary
Sandra Dawn Williams passed away at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois on January 21, 2022 at the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 19 days.
Sandra was born on September 12, 1946 as a second daughter to the late Howard Wilson "Sonny" Williams and Ester Marie Williams (nee Bethel). Sandra is also preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Williams; sister, Marie Phillips; and nephew, Mark Phillips.
Sandra is survived by her daughters: Jacqueline Vogel and Victoria Vogel; aunt, Edith Herman; sister-in-law, Leslie Williams; nieces and nephews: Deborah Boehlen, Christopher Williams, Heather Phillips, and Keith Phillips.
In 1964 she graduated from Roxana Community High School. After which, she received postsecondary education at Southern Illinois University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She spent the most of her career teaching mathematics at Florissant Junior, Madison High, and Madison Middle schools.
Her passions included her cats, art, photography, stained glass, thrifting, and gardening.
