Rita Lee Hunt's Obituary
Rita Lee Hunt passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at her residence in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 3 days.
Rita was born on August 19, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Richard Hunt and Retha Osmack. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Brown.
Rita is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Dennis) Dotson; grandson, Michael Dotson, and brother, Rick Hunt.
She was also a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Whether it be tending to her garden or meditating, Rita loved to be outdoors. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing with her cat, Rascal. Her greatest joy in life, though, was spending time with her grandson, Michael.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hughes Funeral Alternatives Chapel, 3211 Sublette Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63139
