Peng Lu's Obituary
Peng Lu passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Sherbrooke Village Living Center in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 77 years, 11 months, and 24 days.
Peng was born on January 8, 1947 in TungShan, China to the late Hong Shyuen Lu and Shu Yuen Chang. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Shu Lan Lu.
Peng is survived by his daughters: Alice (David) Carter, Yvonne (Evan) Smoker, and Sarah (Ben) England; and grandchildren: Cadence, Ethan, Norah, and Miles.
Peng was also a loving brother, half-brother, uncle, and friend to many.
A private inurnment will take place at a later date in the Garden of Renewal at Hillcrest Abbey Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Stanford University's Center for Asian Health Research and Education (CARE) (https://asianhealth.stanford.edu/donate-now) support research of the rising number of lung cancer cases in the non-smoking Asian population, in memory of Peng's wife Shu Lan who passed away from the disease.
