Montie Ray Brown's Obituary
Montie Ray Brown passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at his residence in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 58.
Montie was born on May 19, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Charles Eldon Brown, Sr. and Mary Brown. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Eldon Brown, Jr.
Montie is survived by his daughter: Miranda Brown a; sister, Kimberly Ann
(Marvin) Evans; and a host of friends.
Montie was a devoted member of the Elks Lodge 2678, where he valued fellowship and the friendships he built over the years. He was known for his outgoing nature, his ability to carry on a conversation with anyone, and his enjoyment of sharing a good joke. He appreciated the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping and float trips. Time spent outside, whether around a campfire or on the river, was something he genuinely looked forward to. Montie also valued time with his family. Being together for gatherings and everyday moments alike was important to him. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his humor, and the relationships he maintained throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at Elks Lodge #2678, 8430 Industrial Drive, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the American Lung Association.
