I would gently chide Mike about how he was hazardous to my well being whilst playing on Thunder Turkeys: Whenever the opposing team had a right handed bruiser at the plate, he'd inevitably pitch flat and everyone could hear the through-air shrieking of a liner on its way to me at third base. Even so, I enjoyed every game with him as leader / catalyst.
I also remember all the Christmas tree decorating parties fondly where this of us in Mike's and your work worlds mixed for hours of revelry.
