Michael Jay DeLuca's Obituary
Michael Jay DeLuca passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 73 years, 1 month, and 8 days.
Michael was born on April 27, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Concetto DeLuca and Mildred DeLuca (nee Bonovich). Michael is also preceded in death by his sister, Vicki McAdams; and brother-in-law, Warren Leong.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mabel DeLuca (nee Leong); children: Brian (Terri Yocum) DeLuca and Tracy (Matt) Alonzo; grandchildren: Ethan, Amelia, Alexa, Marissa, and Fischer; and sister, Angela (Mark) Stevens.
Michael was also a loving brother-in-law to Lee McAdams, Don (Teresa) Leong, Rich (Nancy) Leong, and Shirley (Charlie) Phillips; uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.
Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He also enjoyed playing trivia, reading, and watching television.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023. at Southwest Baptist Church, 6401 Scanlan Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63139. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
A private inurnment with full military honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date.
