Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Beloved wife of the late Frank William Bufe III; dearest mother and mother-in-law of Sharon (Philip) Daniels, Laura Gorski, Frank (Mary) Bufe, Marie (Bob) Alsmeyer, and Eileen (Craig) Harper; loving grandmother of Elizabeth Daniels (Alex Nisenbaum), Andrew Daniels (Rebecca Wood-Daniels), Jim (Jessi) Gorski, Matt (Audrey) Gorski, Dan (Abby) Gorski, Zach (Paige) Gorski, Meg (Devlin) Hutchins, Kelly (Katie) Gorski, Will Bufe (Lydia Ferraro), Sam Bufe, Jane Bufe (Deybit Castillo Martin), Abigail Martha Alsmeyer (Kyle Morr), Patrick (Jess) Alsmeyer, Nick (Corinne) Harper, and Justin Harper; great-grandmother of Tallulah, Penelope, Violet, Henry, Oliver, George, Trudy, Harry, Leah, Collin, Rhen, Susie, Matthew, Clare, Lucille, Audrey, Belle, Theodore, Leona, and Luna; daughter of the late Francis and Marie Kohn; dear sister of Francis Kohn and the late Dolores Mohrmann and Elizabeth Imboden; sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Martha retired from TWA in 1998. She was an active parishioner of St. Sabina since 1964. Martha was the winner of the 2019 annual Bufe Christmas Eve Table Tennis Championship at age 83 and loved her companions Jake, Rocky, and Tater.
The Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at St. Sabina Catholic Church. Martha’s Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.
