We'll remember Marc as a gentle giant with a ready smile and ingratiating personality. We spent a memorable day in New York with Marc and Mary generously showing us the city. Marc used his press credentials to give us a chance to see City Hall where he took a photo of us sitting in the mayor's chair. We also got to see where the twin towers once stood (this was shortly after 911 and the area was restricted). Finally Marc arranged for us to see a show at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem. And he got us tickets for a concert at Carnegie Hall. Thank you Marc.
The last time we saw Marc was lunch when they were passing through Chicago. While not in great health physically, Marc was exuberant and a joy to be with and that's how we'll remember him.
