Laura Jean Herbert passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Life Care Center - Bridgeton in Bridgeton, Missouri at 8:20 a.m. at the age of 76 years, 2 months, and 8 days.
Loving wife of Ted Herbert, and phenomenal mother to twins, son Ted Herbert, Jr. (Twyla), daughter Tracy Kisgen (Bob), and son Tim Herbert (Dawn. Wonderful grandmother to Vincent (Buddy) Allen (Hycintia) and Vanessa Ralls (Nathan), Sabrina Jauernic (Joe), Jim Heron, Ashley Ward, and Matthew Herbert, great-grandmother to Sebastian Subash-Allen, and new babies Lily Jauernic, and Ellie Ward.
Ted and Laura met on a blind date in 1967 and married just two months later. They "just knew". After 54 years of marriage Laura fought cancer valiantly, but succumbed to a peaceful slumber. Her family is sad at her passing but are grateful that she is no longer in pain. Identifying as agnostic much of her life, at the end she knew God. Laura's legacy lives on with her gifts of language, art and musical talents - all passed on to her children and their children. She will be missed by many.
