I knew Kristy in high school and thought very highly of her. She was an amazing woman and friend. After she moved to a different school, I didn't see her as much. When I decided to go to my Senior Prom, I asked the most beautiful girl I knew to go with me and Kristy said yes. Almost 20 years later, we reconnected online and I was delighted she had found someone that loved her and cared for her. She told me about her various battles and her joys. I will always remember her in my heart and love her in my own way for as long as I live. My sincere condolences to Jason, William, her family, and her friends. The world is a lot colder and darker without her light. You fought as long and as hard as you could, you aren't in pain or sick or fighting anymore. Rest in Peace, dear Kristy.
