Kenneth James Riebe's Obituary
Kenneth James Riebe passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 41.
Kenneth was born on September 28, 1984 in K.I. Sawyer Air Force, Michigan to Richard and Nujaree Riebe.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Kay Riebe; siblings: Wendy and Daniel Riebe; parents-in-law; Neva and Doug Beis, and Joseph and Ruth Vasquez; and sister-in-law, Janell Vasquez.
Kenneth had a deep love for cats and found joy in their quiet companionship and playful spirits. He was an avid fan of video games, always ready to explore new worlds and take on new challenges. Kenneth embraced life with curiosity and enthusiasm, especially when it came to trying new foods and immersing himself in meaningful experiences. He enjoyed attending musicals and orchestral concerts, where music brought stories to life, and he found inspiration wandering through museums, aquariums, and zoos. He held a special appreciation for Chinese and Japanese culture, admiring their history, art, and traditions. Kenneth lived with a sense of wonder, always eager to learn, explore, and experience the richness the world had to offer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 10:00 am at Missouri Botanical Gardens Spink Pavillion, 4344 Shaw Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri 63110.
Following the service and Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 am at Salt + Smoke, 5625 Hampton Avenue, St. Louis 63109.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kenneth’s name can be made to Stray Haven Cat Rescue in St. Louis, Missouri; Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs, Arkansas; or National Tiger Sanctuary in Saddlebrook, Missouri.
