Jon Miles Brown's Obituary
Jon Miles Brown passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, Missouri at the age of 39 years, 4 months, and 23 days.
Jon was born on April 12, 1986 in Rolla, Missouri.
Jon is survived by his son, Markey Brown; mother, Nancy Brown-Matlock; grandmother, Kathleen Thomas; aunts: Mary Bertelsman and Tina Thomas; and uncles: Michael and James Thomas.
He is also survived by his cousins: Ashley, Danielle, Taylour, Brice, Connor, Donald, David, and Savannah, and a whole host of friends.
Jon created much joy for his family and friends. He was an enthusiast of automobiles, video games, and enjoyed a round of golf. He shared his love for laughter and was very talented. His imitations of movie characters were spot on - making everyone around him laugh. Jon enjoyed nothing more than making others smile and spending time with his son, Markey.
His friends and family were truly blessed to have him for a short while and he will be missed by many.
Per his wishes, Jon was donated to Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri to help with advancement of medicine.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jon’s name can be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
