Janice Marie Funkhouser-Lloyd's Obituary
Janice Marie Funkhouser-Lloyd passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society in Olathe, Kansas at the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 23 days.
Janice was born on May 19, 1949 to the late Don and Retha Funkhouser, in Des Moines, Iowa. She is also preceded in death by her younger sister Linda, a granddaughter Amber, a grandson Tyler and a great granddaughter Olivia.
She is survived by her only child, Amy. A grandson Dacen, a granddaughter Devanny and a great granddaughter Sunniva. Along with her 3 remaining siblings.
She was the second oldest of 5 children. She graduated in 1967 from Shawnee Mission East High School, in Prairie Village, Kansas. She attended Baker University for two short years and then left to attend the TWA flight academy in Mission Kansas where she became an airline stewardess. She was stationed out of LaGuardia airport in New York for several years. She then became a mother in 1970. She passed away from natural causes on December 11, 2024 under Hospice care.
A private service held in the Spring at GreenLawn Cemetery in Plattsburg, Missouri where she will be laid to rest by her parents, grandparents and sister.
