James "Jim" Buck Mahon's Obituary
James “Jim” Buck Mahon passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Hillcrest Care Center in Desoto, Missouri at the age of 69 years, 5 months, and 2 days.
James was born on March 6, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Patrick Mahon and Lillian Mahon (nee Bosma).
James is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sandie Mahon (nee Chatman); siblings: Patrick (Tina) Mahon, Kathy (Steve) Boelter, Christine Mahon, and Colleen (Skip Stizell) Mahon; step daughter, Stavena Foster; and grandchildren: Olivia Foster, Garrett Akins, Abigaile Broom, and Sophia Foster-Goodrum.
James was also a loving uncle to Jamie White, Amanda Ernst, and Mackenzie Stitzell; and dear friend to many.
James had many hobbies including: painting, woodworking, building things, feeding and watching birds. He also had a great deal of passion for his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family, going to eat with Oliva, and playing with his dogs.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Once finalized, arrangements will be posted here.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his wife, Sandie.
