James Ray Jenkins' Obituary
James Ray Jenkins passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2026 in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 78.
James was born on May 13, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late James Robert Jenkins and Dolores Z. Jenkins (nee Bess). He is also preceded in death by his son, Brian Jenkins.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda L. Jenkins (nee Sykes); son, Kevin (Nicole) Jenkins; grandchildren: Kerry (Tara) Jenkins, Chance Jenkins, Alexis (fiance Alex Hollenbeck) Jenkins, and Tristan (Jess) Jenkins.
James was also survived by two great-grandchildren; sisters: Donna Yates, Mary Johnson, and Bess Ann Bannister; brothers: John (Elizabeth) Jenkins and Bob (Annette) Jenkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
James was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served in the Vietnam War.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Marvin Chapel Cemetery, 4003 Highway K, Bonne Terre, Missouri 63628 where full military honors will be rendered.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Imperial Bowl, 6045 West Outer Road, Imperial, Missouri 63052.
