George Henderson's Obituary
George D. Henderson passed away on October 6, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 88 years, 2 months, and 2 days.
George was born on August 4, 1937 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
George was a proud veteran of the United State Navy where he was an Engineering Officer on the USS Beatty. After his military service he would go on to become an advocate for better education in St. Louis and even ran for the school board several times. His passion especially centered around Normandy High School. In his spare time, George would often enjoy a game of Chess.
Inurnment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date.
