David Emas Jr.'s Obituary
David Emas, Jr. passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 7 months, and 30 days.
David was born on March 17, 1949 in Granite City, Illinois to the late David Emas, Sr. and Betty Emas (nee Gibson).
David is survived by his loving children: David (Lisa) Emas, III, Jennifer Almquist, and Sarah Emas; and grandchildren: Nick, David, and Samantha Emas; Alec and Linsey May; and Izaiah Johnson.
David is also a loving brother, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.
David was a proud veteran of the United States Navy where he served in the Vietnam War. While serving, David earned many accolades including: National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon.
A roadside service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125. Guests are asked to meet in the cemetery office by 11:15 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in David’ name can be made to the American Heart Association.
