Cresula was born on March 20, 1934 St. Louis, Missouri to the late Gus and Mattie Dallas. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Stephan.

Per her wishes, Cresula was donated to Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri to help with the advancement of modern medicine.
