Constance "Connie" Lee Morgan's Obituary
Constance (Connie) Lee Morgan, of St. Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 7 at Clarendale St. Peters Memory Care at the age of 79.
She was born Feb. 7, 1946, in Quincy, IL., the only child of the late Morgan and Betty Schaberg. She was proceeded in death by her partner of many years, Gaylinn Rawls.
Connie is survived by special friends Kevin and Mary Enger, as well as cousins and the many friends she met along life’s journey
Connie grew up on her parents’ farm in Quincy and loved animals of all kinds, especially cats. She graduated from Quincy’s Central High School in 1964 and attended Quincy University. She worked for 45 years performing laboratory tests in a variety of medical settings, including SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis, MO.
In the 1980s, she began to study and discover who we are as spiritual beings. She received credentials in clinical hypnotherapy and metaphysical ministry. Connie authored the book Your Last Wake-up Call in 2011. She deeply cared for others, which was demonstrated by her kind words and deeds.
Connie was most at home expressing herself through photography, music and writing. She loved the outdoors, and whether on the family farm, living in Arizona or on the many trips across the county, she took beautiful scenic and meaningful photographs. Connie was an accomplished pianist, organist and composer and loved playing for others.
In her true spirit of giving, Connie requested that her body be donated to science. Logan University is receiving this gift which will help students further their education.
