Chris Ann Hammond Pursley passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at her residence, at the age of 69 years, 7 months, and 6 days.
Chris Ann was born on Tuesday, December 19, 1950 in Washington, Missouri to the late Harry R. Hammond and Marian B. Hammond (nee Muenz).
Chris Ann is survived by her daughters: Julie (Mike Tabor) Pursley and Jeannie (Deno) Palazzola; grandchildren: Sean, Jade, Cole, and Oliva; siblings: Kathy, Clara, Ross, Karen, and Nat.
Also surviving is nieces and nephews: Mary Elle, Jody, Andrew, Henry, Adrian, Ian, and Noah.
Chris Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother. She treasured every moment with her family and friends. She was a kindhearted, patient, compassionate woman.
Chris Ann was also an avid reader. She loved going for walks at Shaw Botanical Gardens with her family. She also enjoyed sitting on her front porch, just watching nature.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
