I just found out about Carlos's passing. I had the opportunity to work with him in many capacities within BJC and the technology over several years. I considered him a gentle giant. My thoughts and prayers to his wife, kids, grandkids and all family and friends.
Carlos was a wonderfully inclusive and collaborative partner in the world of interprofessional education. He was respected by colleagues across the campus for his knowledge and patience in resolving thorny technical issues that occur working across separate institutions. We will miss his guidance (and pictures of his grandbabies!). My deepest condolences to his family.
What a beautiful tribute to Carlos! His in-laws, Bob and Sandy Pfieffer are very dear friends of ours and we watched Debbie grow up! We got to see Debbie and Carlos every time they came to FBC in Sullivan. Carlos was always smiling, friendly and happy! It was such a tragedy for his family to lose him at such an early age. Love and prayers for all his family!

I heard the news from Karen. We were together in London when she spoke by phone with James.
I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news. I know, from our interactions and from Karen, how deeply connected you were with Carlos. His loss of must be a terrible one for you, and for your family members. You have my deepest sympathy and most sincere condolences. Words are so insufficient at this time, I know.
I hope that your memories of him and the life you had together will come to provide you some measure of solace and support in the coming years. I know your family and friends, including Karen and me, will be there for you.

Sending prayers for love and support as you reflect on the kind soul and very caring man. I was a coworker of Carlos at Goldfarb and he was a great guy to work with. He is truly missed.
I knew Carlos as a coworker from Goldfarb School of Nursing. He was THE GUY to call for any IT issue we might be having. Incredibly patient and articulate, Carlos in a calm, cool, and collected manner would help us figure out computer issues even on days that were in full-blown haywire status. Thank you Carlos for holding the technology together at the school of nursing, you were our computer information rock! We miss you!!
