Brendan Kolb's Obituary
Brendan Kolb passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 31 years, 8 months, and 30 days.
Brendan was born on July 20, 1993 in St. Louis to Laura McMaster (nee Kolb) and the late Steven Telthorst. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents Marilyn Kolb and Ernest and Theresa Telthorst.
Brendan is survived by his mother, Laura McMaster (nee Kolb); grandparents Robert and Phyllis Kolb.
Brendan is also a loving nephew of: Katherine (John) Horne, Gerald Kolb, Lisa (Chris) Hively, and Mary Elizabeth (Jeff Freeze) Naunheim,
Brendan was a curious soul with a deep love for learning, who never stopped exploring the world around him. Whether it was the strategy of soccer, the rhythm of his favorite music, or the history behind the stamps he collected, he dove in with passion and curiosity. A loyal fan of the St. Louis Blues, he also found joy and peace in the outdoors, especially through disc golf and frisbee with friends and family. Above all, he cherished his loved ones—his grandfather held a special place in his heart, as did the close bond he shared with his cousins. He was the kind of person who always took time to understand, to ask questions, and to truly know. His presence, warmth, and unending desire to learn will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church, 8866 Pardee Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63123. Visitation to be held at 9:00 am until time of mass.
