Anna Elliot Rose Murphy's Obituary
Anna Elliot Rose Murphy (formerly Anna Mary Rose Murphy) passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at her residence in Clayton, Missouri at the age of 32 years, 6 months, and 4 days.
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on October 26 th , 1991, Anna grew up in Little Rock and Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
She is survived by her son, Eden Henry Murphy, and by her parents, Teressa Rose Ezell and Dr. Russell Elliott Murphy, all of St. Charles, Missouri. She is also survived byher siblings, Michael Murphy (Claudia Damiani) of Fremont, California; Sara Murphy (Ryan Lowe) of Washington, Utah; Gabriel Murphy (Meagan) of Manchester, Missouri; Raphael Murphy (Taylor) of Jacksonville, Florida; John Murphy (Dionna Holt) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Sean Murphy (Laura) of Boise, Idaho; and Matthew Murphy (Casey Dacanay) of El Cerrito, California; and four nephews and one niece.
Anna is also survived by the love and advocacy she showed for the patients she worked with as a physical therapy assistant with Barnes-Jewish Extended Care. She was a healer who could bring houseplants back to life through sheer patience. She was a proud Scorpio who loved music, dancing, and flora and fauna of all kinds, and she was unapologetically outspoken about social justice matters. She adored her son and never missed a chance to talk about his smartness and sense of humor. Anna thrived on human connections and made new friends at every turn. Her bright, bold presence in this world will be dearly missed.
