Amonda "Mandy" Sue Landfried's Obituary
Amonda "Mandy" Sue Landfried (nee Woolard) passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 surrounded by her family in Waterloo, Illinois at the age of 79 years and 24 days.
Mandy was born on September 19, 1946 in Addieville, Illinois to the late Helen and Maxey Woolard. She is also preceded in death by her brothers: Norman Woolard and Don Woolard.
Mandy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Phillip Landfried; daughter, Andrea Jones; grandchildren: Lydia (Trevor Fournie) Johnson, Allan (Heather) Lourwood, and Antonio Cozart; great-grandchildren: Abigail, Dakota, Jacoby, Leland, Grayson and Riley; sister-in-law Joyce Woolard; and many nieces and nephews.
Mandy’s career included positions with Bank of America (formerly Boatmen’s Bank), Jannx Medical Systems, and the Catholic Diocese of Belleville, where she eventually retired. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Dupo, Illinois and had a lifelong love of animals. Mandy found joy in dancing, cherished time spent with her family, and possessed a kind and welcoming spirit that allowed her to make friends wherever she went.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 5:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Dupo, 620 Godin Avenue, Dupo, Illinois 62239. A dinner will be provided at the church immediately following the service.
