Amelia S. Novoa's Obituary
Amelia S. Novoa passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 6 months.
Born to Breanna Eldridge and Rodrigo Novoa, Amelia was a precious light in the lives of her parents and everyone lucky enough to know her. She was her mommy’s sidekick, always close at heart, and her daddy’s late-night video game buddy, full of laughter and curiosity.
Along with her parents, she was surrounded by a family who adored her deeply:her maternal grandfather Dennis Eldridge and his wife Becky; her maternal grandmother Amanda Feager and great-grandmother Betty Feager. Her sisters Josephina Novoa and Danna Novoa shared in her joy and play. Her uncles—Austin Eldridge (with wife Brittany), Maddox Eldridge, and Troy Dean Eldridge—and her aunts, Dalainey Eldridge and Caitlyn Wiseman, all held special places in her world.
On her father’s side, she was cherished by her paternal grandfather Jonathan Novoa and grandmother Jacqueline Olivares, as well as her aunts Dayan Diaz, Jasmin Vargas, Scarleth Novoa, and Anays Vargas.
Amelia filled her days with dancing bachata with Granny and Romeo Santos, trying new foods—though avocado and mashed potatoes were her favorites—and enjoying ribs right off the bone like a little foodie pro. She loved reading her nighttime book, bouncing with joy throughout the day, and laughing at her favorite cartoon, Abejita Chiquitita.
She brought warmth, humor, and a boundless love of life to everyone she met. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, who will carry her memory forward with love, strength, and joy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Hughes Funeral Alternatives Chapel, 3211 Sublette Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63139.
