So not ready to say goodbye to my favorite Uncle Dave. It just seems so surreal. I'm glad we made it to the hospital to kiss and say goodbye the day before while he was still awake. I'm glad he seen my face and was able to say, "I love you." The hardest part is preparing my mom. She is not ok and this is the reason she just got out of the hospital. She was rushed there the day after her brother passed (bp (80/60). He's going out with honors because he was a vet so there will be a 21 gun salute. I miss you already Uncle Dave. It was nice meeting you even though we didn't get know each that much but you had a good spirit i hope you are in a much better place and looking down on everyone you loved from katrina
